A Quick Shower Head Replacement Test
Here are some steps you can take to check if you should replace your shower head and save some cash:
- A bucket (ideally one marked in gallon increments),
- A stopwatch or clock
- Place the bucket under your shower head.
- Turn the shower on to whatever pressure setting you normally use.
- Grab your stopwatch and time how many seconds it takes to reach the one-gallon mark.
- If the water takes fewer than 30 seconds to reach the one-gallon mark, a water-saving shower head would be beneficial.
